U.S. Marshals Capture Man Wanted for Vehicular Homicide After Fatal Hit-and-Run

Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshals in Memphis captured Deandrea Clark, 37, who was wanted for the fatal hit-and-run of a woman in October. The Memphis Police Department issued a warrant for Vehicular Homicide, Hit-and-Run Involving Death or Serious Injury, Driving on a Suspended License, Failure to Exercise Due Care, Duty to Render Aid, and Violation of Financial Responsibility Law.

On October 26th, Clark was allegedly involved in a crash with another vehicle at I-385 and Kirby Parkway. According to reports, Clark collided with another vehicle while traveling 85 MPH in a 40 MPH lane and fled the scene on foot. The driver of the other vehicle, Sarah Hamer, 53, was transported to a Memphis hospital and later pronounced dead. The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) adopted the case to locate and apprehend Clark.

Yesterday afternoon, the Two Rivers Task Force and Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team went to an address in the 3800 block of Weaver Meadows Lane in Memphis. Investigators approached the residence and announced their presence at the front door. Moments later, Clark surrendered at the door and was placed under arrest without incident or injury. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail.

U.S. Marshals Increase Reward up to $20,000 for Virginia Rapper Charged with Murder of 10-Year-Old Boy

Norfolk, VA – The U.S. Marshals Service has increased the reward up to $20,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a Virginia woman wanted for the Aug. 9 murder of a 10-year-old boy in Franklin.

Tashawnda Nicole Drayton, 24, known by her rap name “23 Brazy,”is also known to identify as a male, according to her family and friends, and go by the name “Berlin Montrell,” along with the nickname of “Punnie.”

Drayton has ties up and down the east coast, primarily: New York City; Wilmington, Delaware; Richmond, Virginia; Hampton Roads, Virginia; Gaffney, South Carolina; and Atlanta.

Drayton is Black, with brown eyes and black hair, stands 5 feet 11 inches and weighs approximately 250 pounds. She has “only loyalty” tattooed above her left eyebrow, “23 Brazy” in red letters on her forehead, “blessed” on the left side of her neck, “Stacy” on the right side of her neck, along with several additional tattoos on her face and neck. Drayton also has multiple tattoos on both of her arms and hands, including “Tinka boo” on her left forearm, and “Stay Brazy” across her knuckles.

Drayton has the following outstanding arrest warrants from the Franklin Police Department in connection to a shooting that left a 10-year-old boy dead and an adult male injured in Franklin, Virginia, Aug. 9:

First-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied dwelling (two counts), use of a firearm in commission of a felony, threat to burn or damage a building, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharge of a firearm in a public place.

Drayton should be considered armed and dangerous.

U.S. Marshals Arrest Two Wanted for Murder Charges, to Include Man Wanted for Killing Two Local Brothers in Bedford Heights

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Shawntell Ellis, 29, and Eric Harris, 33. Ellis was wanted by the Bedford Heights Police Department for double homicide and Harris was wanted by the East Cleveland Police Department for homicide.

According to Bedford Heights Police, Shawntell Ellis is suspected of shooting and killing Dominic Cunningham, 22, and Joshua Cunningham, 21, in the parking lot of a local restaurant in Bedford Heights in the early hours of Oct. 7, 2023. The two victims were brothers from Northeast Ohio. Ellis was identified as the suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Members of the task force developed information that Ellis was residing at an address near the 12300 block of Cedar Ave., in Cleveland Heights and today task force members arrested him at that address. Also, inside the same residence, was Eric Harris, who was wanted by the East Cleveland Police Department for homicide. At least two firearms were located inside the residence and seized at the time of the arrest.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Today, the family of the slain brothers are one step closer to justice after the arrest of this wanted fugitive. Our task force will continue to pursue those fugitives who are wanted for egregious violent offenses.”

U.S. Marshals Offer Reward in Philadelphia Prison Escape Case

Philadelphia, PA – The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent

Crime Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Philadelphia prison escapee Gino Hagenkotter, 34. A warrant for escape was issued by the Philadelphia Police Department for Hagenkotter, and the U.S. Marshals Violent Crimes Fugitive Task was delegated the case.

On Nov. 30, Hagenkotter fled from the Riverside Correctional Facility where he was incarcerated on low level crimes. His last confirmed sighting was at 11:55 a.m., approximately 10 minutes after the escape, when Hagenkotter was observed on video heading north on the 8400 block of Hegerman Street toward Blakiston street.

There is currently a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to Hagenkotter’s arrest. The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is offering up to $1,500 and Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers has offered an additional $500. The Crime Stoppers reward will be paid immediately upon arrest.

Hagenkotter stands 5 feet 6 inches and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of a dagger on his right forearm. His last known address was in the 7700 block of Cottage Street in Philadelphia.

“While we are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending Hagenkotter, we are also warning that anyone assisting him in his flight will be prosecuted to the fullest extent,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark.

License Plate Recovered in Philadelphia from Blair County Escapee

Philadelphia, PA — The U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force today recovered a license plate that was previously on a vehicle believed to be stolen by a man who escaped Blair County Prison Dec. 3.

Isaiah Robert Tilghman, 33, was incarcerated on narcotics charges and Pennsylvania State Parole violations when he escaped. 

At 1:30 today, members of the fugitive task force in Philadelphia recovered Pennsylvania License plate ZNR-9945 in the 3500 block of Belgrade street. The tag was on a red Ford F-150 (pictured below) similar to the red 2011 Ford F-150 stolen by Tilghman in Blair County. PA tag ZKA-1062 was taken from the Ford-150 on Belgrade street, and investigtors presume that Tilghman had switched the plates on or around the morning of Dec. 5.    

Tilghman is a Black man, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds.  He has brown eyes and black hair and multiple tattoos on both arms. His last known address was in the 6200 block of Dickens Avenue in Philadelphia. 

“This fugitive task force in now working two simultaneous escape investigations,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark. “We continue to ask the public for any tips relating to Gino Hagenkotter and Isaiah Tilghman.”   

Hagenkotter escaped Nov. 30 from Philadelphia’s Riverside Correctional Facility where he was incarcerated on low level crimes.

U.S. Marshals Capture Man Wanted for Attempted Murder on Law Enforcement Officers

Chester County, TN – On December 4th, 2023, U.S. Marshals captured Jacob Johnson, 24, of Henderson, TN, who was wanted for multiple crimes including three counts of Attempted Murder involving law enforcement officers.

On December 4th around 4 p.m., officers from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office and the Henderson Police Department responded to reports of a reckless driver with a gun. Officers spotted the vehicle driving in the area of Highway 100 and West Main Street in Henderson, TN. Upon officers initiating their emergency equipment, the driver evaded and fired a gun at the officers. They continued to pursue the vehicle until it crashed into a bridge guard rail on TN-200 near Rabbitt Ranch Road. The driver was seen fleeing on foot into a wooded area.

A Chester County Deputy requested the assistance of a U.S. Marshals Task Force Officer (TFO) with an apprehension K-9. The TFO, along with other members of the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson, responded from Jackson to the area where the suspect was last seen. The team entered the wood line with the K-9 leading the search. After a few minutes the suspect, identified as Jacob Johnson, surrendered. He was taken into custody without incident or injury and transported to the Chester County Jail. A Deputy U.S. Marshal found a loaded handgun in the woods.

Johnson faces charges of three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Reckless Endangerment, and driving offenses. The Chester County Sheriff’s Office, Henderson Police Department, and Tennessee Highway Patrol assisted.

Man Wanted for Killing Warren Woman Arrested by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Florida

Warren, OH –  The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) announces the arrest of wanted fugitive Noel Flores, 19. Flores was wanted by the Warren Police Department for homicide.

Flores is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Ashante Kirksey, 26, that occurred at her residence in the 900 block of Francis Avenue SE, Warren, OH on November 11, 2023. According to Warren Police, a second person was shot at the same location but was not identified in their report.

Late last week, the NOVFTF gathered information that Flores had fled Ohio and was staying near St. Petersburg, FL. The NOVFTF worked with the U.S. Marshals Service in Florida over the past few days and early this afternoon, Flores was located at an apartment in the 10100 block of 12th Way N, St. Petersburg, FL. Flores was found in possession of a 9mm firearm, which was the same caliber used during the commission of the homicide. The firearm was seized by authorities. Flores was booked into the Pinellas County Jail pending extradition to Ohio.  

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “This is another example of the dedication our task force officers put into every investigation. This fugitive attempted to evade the reach of the U.S. Marshals Service but was unsuccessful because we will never stop looking for them no matter how far they run.”

U.S. Marshals, FBI Looking for Violent Fugitive Wanted for Girlfriend’s Murder

Hammond, IN – The U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force and the FBI are seeking the public’s help in locating a violent fugitive wanted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department for murder and are offering a combined reward of up to $15,000 ($10,000 from the FBI and $5,000 from the USMS) for information leading directly to his arrest.

Samuel Edwards, 37, of Harvey, is alleged to have shot and killed his girlfriend Ieisha Jefferson, 31, of Gary, in front of their five young children Dec. 27, 2022. 

The Lake County Prosecutor’s Office charged him on Jan. 13 with one count of murder and five counts of felony child neglect.  

Edwards is a Black man with a medium complexion, short hair and possibly thick beard. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds. He has a mole beneath his left and right eye and several moles between his eyes. 

Edwards is known to frequent the Harvey and Chicago, Illinois, areas and has close ties there as well as in northwest Indiana.
