Toledo, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) is seeking the public’s assistance in the locating and arresting Tyrone Hoskins Jr (34). Hoskins Jr. is wanted by the United States Marshals Service (USMS) in Toledo for being in violation of his supervised release after being convicted in United States District Court for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is also wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a parole violation, stemming from an involuntary manslaughter conviction.

Hoskins Jr. has absconded from authorities and his current location is unknown. Hoskins Jr. is known to frequent Toledo and Youngstown, Ohio and the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. He is described as a black male, 5’8”, 250lbs with a gold tooth. Hoskins Jr. should be considered armed and dangerous.

U.S. Marshals Capture Memphis Murder Suspect in Minneapolis

Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in the Western District of Tennessee and the District of Minnesota coordinated to capture a fugitive, Jaylon Remus, 25, of Memphis. Remus was wanted for first degree murder, aggravated assault, especially aggravated robbery, and reckless endangerment out of Shelby County, Tennessee.

On September 4, 2024, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Remus out of Shelby County. The USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis adopted the case the same day. The TRVFTF developed information that Remus had fled to the Minneapolis area and requested the USMS in Minnesota for help in locating him.

On October 21st, deputy marshals from the North Star Fugitive Task Force in Minneapolis tracked Remus to a family member’s house in the City of Medina outside the Minneapolis area. Remus surrendered to deputies at the front door of the residence and is pending extradition back to Tennessee.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby, Fayette, and Tipton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis and Jackson Police Officers, the Tennessee Department of Correction Special Agents and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Since 2021, the TRVFTF has captured over 2,600 violent offenders and sexual predators.

U.S. Marshals, CT Police Arrest MA Fugitive Hiding in Woods

New Haven, CT — The U.S. Marshals in Connecticut, working the USMS in Massachusetts and the Connecticut State Police, today arrested a man wanted in Massachusetts on multiple charges.

Steven Labrecque, 40, was taken into custody at a secluded campsite in Woodstock, where he is alleged to have been hiding for months.

Labrecque is wanted by Franklin and New Bedford police in Massachusetts on charges of child pornography, photographing intimate parts of a child, intimidation of a witness, reckless endangerment of a child, threatening, obscene matter to a minor, assault, and battery.

After attempts to locate and apprehend Labrecque were unsuccessful, local police requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals. The USMS investigation led to the Woodstock hideout.

After his arrest Labrecque was transported to Connecticut State Police where he was processed as a fugitive from justice and awaits extradition back to Massachusetts to face the charges against him.

“The high-risk apprehension of Mr. Steven Labrecque on charges related to child pornography is the culmination of investigative efforts spanning multiple states and involving the close collaboration between federal, state, and local departments,” said Lawrence Bobnick, acting U.S. Marshal for the District of Connecticut. “Despite his extraordinary efforts to elude capture, the apprehension of Mr. Labrecque demonstrates the tenacity of the USMS Violent Fugitive Task Force and the incredible value our law enforcement partnerships have in fulfilling our mutual mission of improving the safety of the communities we serve. Since the inception of the U.S. Marshals – Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force in 1999, these partnerships have resulted in over 11,046 arrests (Updated as of 9/08/2022). The task force’s objective is to seek out and arrest violent fugitives and sexual predators. Membership agencies include Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Waterbury Police Departments and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the U.S. Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, eight regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.

U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Wanted for Two Counts of Aggravated Murder

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Aric Ward, 34, who was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for two counts of aggravated murder.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers responded to the area of E. 109th Street and Prince Avenue on June 1, 2024, after receiving an alert from ShotSpotter. Officers that responded located two men who were deceased inside a vehicle. The victims were later identified as Bralon Shepard, 26 and Sylvon Robinson, 27.

Aric Ward was identified as a suspect in this fatal shooting and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Today, members of the NOVFTF arrested Ward at a residence in the 24800 block of Woodline Road, Bedford, Ohio.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “The Cleveland Division of Police continues to work hard for its citizens, solving another homicide investigation. We are happy to work hand and hand with the dedicated officers of Cleveland Police to arrest violent fugitives and keep the city a safe place to live.”

$5,000 Reward for Fugitive Who Shot 3 Women on SEPTA Bus

Philadelphia, PA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Raphael Ezeamaka, 18. 

On October 10th,  a warrant for attempt to commit criminal homicide, aggravated assaut, and criminal conspiracy was issued by the Philadelphia Police Department for Ezeamaka’s role in a shooting that took place October 8th in the 700 block of S. 57th street. After a verbal dispute on the SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) Route G bus, Ezeamaka exited and fired multiple shots into the bus from the outside. 3 women were struck and transported to local hospitals where they were treated for non-life-threatening wounds. The Marshals Service Violent Crimes Fugitive Task is now assisting the Philadelphia Police in locating and apprehending Ezeamaka.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Ezeamaka’s arrest. The $5,000 reward will be processed immediately upon arrest and not upon conviction.

Ezeamaka stands 5 feet 10 inches and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in the 100 block of N. Fairview Avenue in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.

“Anyone who purposely shoots into a crowded bus full of innocent people demonstrates an absolute disregard for human life. Apprehending Raphael Ezeamaka is paramount to public safety,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark.

U.S. Marshals Arrest Clarksville Murder Suspect

Memphis, TN – Turnity Rossell, age 22, was arrested today for First Degree Murder.

On October 28, 2019, Clarksville Tennessee Police responded to a shots fired call in the area of 16 Hand Village Avenue, Clarksville, Tennessee. It was found that Serdyrin Brown, age 22, was shot there in an incident. He was taken for medical care and pronounced dead at the hospital.

On June 4, 2024, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Turnity Rossell for this crime. The warrant was for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery. On September 24, 2024, this case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force.

The Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force developed information that Rossell was in the Memphis, Tennessee area. On September 24, 2024, they requested that the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force assist with locating Rossell.

On October 17, 2024, the Two Rivers Task Force went to a residence near the intersection of S. Mendenhall and Colony in an effort to locate Rossell. They were aided by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Memphis Police Fugitive Apprehension Team. Rossell was located and placed under arrest. He initially tried to lie about his identity, however he soon stopped trying to mislead the Task Force investigators. Rossell was taken to the Shelby County Detention Center without incident.

$5,000 Reward for Information Leading to Arrest of Man Wanted for Striking Officer With Vehicle and Fleeing

Toledo, OH – The United States Marshals Service (USMS), Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Benjamin Chapman, 32. Chapman is wanted in New York for assault, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, obstructing government officer, and fleeing an officer.

Chapman is accused of striking an officer of the Town of Ulster, New York, Police Department with his vehicle on March 30, 2021. Chapman had been pulled over for a traffic violation and was found to be wanted on a warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance issued by the Ulster Town Court. During the encounter, Chapman allegedly struck the officer with his vehicle and then fled the scene. The officer suffered injuries from the assault. Chapman has been on the run since this incident and has committed other violent offenses in other states.

Chapman is described as a white male, standing 5-feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 lbs. Chapman has ties to Toledo, Ohio and Monroe, Michigan.

Third Suspect Wanted in Shooting Death of 28-Year-Old Cleveland Woman Arrested by U.S. Marshals

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Marshae Davis, 34, who was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on May 3, 2024, officers from the 3rd District responded to the area of the 2400 block of Central Ave. and discovered 28-year-old female, Christie Bozeman, inside her apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS on scene attempted to render aid but Bozeman later succumbed to her injuries at MetroHealth hospital.

Leonai Jonson, 18, and Cashemere Cole, 26, were identified as suspects in this fatal incident and warrants were issued for their arrest. On May 15, 2024, members of the NOVFTF arrested Leonai Johnson in an apartment near the 2400 block of Central Ave., Cleveland. On October 11, Cashmere Cole was arrested by the Cleveland Heights Police Department.

Today, members of the NOVFTF arrested Marshae Davis, who is now the third identified suspect in this case. Task force members arrested Davis at a residence in the 3200 block of Overlook Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio. U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Months after the initial arrest in this case, the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit continues to pursue justice for this victim, as a third suspect is now in custody. We will continue to assist the Cleveland Division of Police in putting these violent fugitives behind bars.”

Abducted Minor Recovered by U.S. Marshals in Puerto Rico

San Juan, PR – On October 10, the U.S. Marshals Service Puerto Rico Violent Offenders Task Force (PRVOTF), acting on a lead from the District of Connecticut, successfully recovered an abducted minor.

On the same day, PRVOTF members received a request for assistance from the District of Hartford, Connecticut, regarding a young child who had been kidnapped by the biological mother. The mother exposed the child to dangerous altercations with the biological father. For safety reasons, the child was relocated. The mother was subsequently arrested for risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment (2nd degree). She had fled to Puerto Rico and appeared in court in Connecticut on September 27 without the minor, leading to her arrest for kidnapping and custodial interference charges.

According to the investigation, the child was residing in Puerto Rico with the mother’s boyfriend. Following an extensive investigation, PRVOTF members located and positively identified the minor in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The child was safely recovered and appeared to be healthy. The Puerto Rico Department of Family Services responded, and after conducting interviews and gathering information, they took custody of the child to arrange for their return to the biological father.

“This significant arrest is another example of the results we can obtain from a coordinated collaboration with state agencies and demonstrates the commitment of the men and women of the U.S. Marshals Service to bring these fugitives to justice,” said U.S. Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra. “All our cases are important, but those against children are of the upmost priority for our personnel. We will continue to be vigilant against any criminal who evades justice and tries to hide so as not to assume his or her responsibility. Our commitment to our citizens comes first and we will allocate all necessary resources to make our communities safe, maintaining a quality of life that we all deserve in Puerto Rico.”

U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Wanted in Fatal Hit-And-Run of 14-Year-Old Girl

Philadelphia, PA — Members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force arrested Marvin Wicker, 40, in the unit block of W. Coulter Street in Philadelphia. Wicker was wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for Homicide by Vehicle and related charges, in relation to a September 26th incident at 66th and Haverford Avenue. Wicker is accused of driving a Mercedes which struck and killed a 14-year-old girl who was crossing the street with her mother. On October 5th a warrant was issued for Wicker and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was asked for assistance. 

At approximately 2:00 p.m., investigators from the Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia developed information Wicker was presently in a rooming house in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia. Upon investigating the residence, Wicker was found with another family member and taken into custody without incident. He was then transported to Philadelphia Police Headquarters for processing. 

“The relentless work of our Marshals Service investigators, working with detectives from the Philadelphia Police Crash Investigation Unit, resulted in the swift apprehension of Marvin Wicker. I hope this arrest can help ease the suffering for everyone who knew Dawn Watson,” said Robert Clark, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
