Suspect Wanted on Double Homicide and Failure to Appear on Drug Charges Arrested in New York City

Martinsburg, WV – On June 5, 2024, a warrant was issued out of Berkeley County for Manuel Ernest Watson Gordon,33, of Hagerstown, Maryland. The warrant charged Watson Gordon with failure to appear on charges of distribution of Fentanyl and Cocaine.

The charges were a result of an undercover purchase of narcotics in September of 2023 conducted by the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force.

On July 26, 2024, the Berkeley County Prosecutor’s Office requested the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force in apprehending Watson Gordon. Investigators quickly learned Watson Gordon was wanted by the Hagerstown Police Department in Maryland for a double homicide. The charges stem from a shooting on Washington Street in July of 2024.

The task force searched for Watson Gordon in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland. At the end of 2024, information was developed Watson Gordon may have returned to New York where his family was originally from. The USMS requested the assistance of the Marshals Service New York and New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force to help locate Manuel Watson Gordon.

On January 23, 2025, members of the task force located and arrested Manuel Watson Gordon in the unit block of Main Street, Yonkers, New York without incident.

“Federal, and local law enforcement agencies in West Virginia, Maryland and New York working together were able to develop a location for this violent offender,” said Acting U.S. Marshal Terry Moore. “This arrest is a great example of how the Marshals Service’s partnerships with state and local agencies give these fugitives no place to hide.”

Agencies involved in the search for Watson Gordon were: U.S. Marshals Service, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Hagerstown Police Department, Martinsburg Police Department, and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force.

Watson Gordon is currently being held in Yonkers, New York and will be extradited to West Virginia and Maryland. Additional information on this case may be obtained from the Berkeley County Prosecutor’s Office in Martinsburg, West Virginia, or the Hagerstown Police Department in Maryland.

U.S. Marshals Arrest Crawford County Fugitive in Florida Wanted on Charges for Aggravated Assault, Distribution of Sexual Images or Recordings, Terroristic Threatening, and Harassing Communication

Van Buren, AR – On Wednesday, January 22nd, Michael Wayne Hall of Van Buren was located and arrested without incident by the U.S. Marshals led Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force at an Amtrack Station in Orlando, Florida.

On December 17, 2024, Hall had been released from custody after serving 120 days in the Crawford County Detention Center and given a suspended sentence on various charges including attempting human trafficking, aggravated assault on a family or household member, and terroristic threatening. On January 15, 2025, Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Holmes, filed a Petition to Revoke his suspended sentence for violating various terms and conditions of his release and a felony warrant was issued.

A joint fugitive investigation between the Van Buren Police Department and U.S. Marshal in Fort Smith lead to information that Hall had left the state and was believed to be in Orlando, Florida. Based on information provided by investigators in Arkansas, members of the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force established surveillance of an Amtrack Station located at 1400 Sligh Blvd in Orlando on Wednesday. Hall was identified by Deputy U.S. Marshals as he was attempting to board a train late Wednesday evening and was arrested without incident. Hall was subsequently taken to the Orange Correctional Center and is pending extradition back to Arkansas. Hall is now facing 36 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

The U.S. Marshals led Western Arkansas Fugitive Task Force combines the efforts of federal, state, county and local law enforcement agencies to arrest the most dangerous fugitives. Partner agencies in the Arkansas River Valley currently include the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Smith Police Department, Van Buren Police Department, Alma Police Department, and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. In FY 2024, the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended and cleared 33,960 federal fugitive and 57,210 state fugitive cases nationwide.

Teen Captured by U.S. Marshals for Shooting at Delivery Truck Driver in Road Rage, Father Arrested for Accessory

Jackson, TN – On January 22, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) captured a 17-year-old male wanted for shooting at a FedEx delivery truck driver in a road rage incident. The teen’s father was arrested as an accessory during the fugitive investigation.

On December 15, 2024, around 5:20 p.m., the Jackson Police Department (JPD) responded to a report of road rage on S. Highland Avenue in Jackson. A FedEx driver told police that a male driving a pick-up truck almost caused an accident, then began following him. The FedEx driver said the pick-up driver pulled up beside him near the area of the Civic Center on S. Highland and fired a gun into the side of the FedEx truck behind the victim’s head. The victim followed the suspect vehicle, called 911, and provided a vehicle description.

JPD spotted the suspect vehicle on N. Highland Avenue near Ridgecrest Road. Officers initiated a traffic stop, but the suspect vehicle evaded officers by escaping eastbound on I-40 while reaching speeds more than 100 m.p.h. JPD Investigators developed a 17-year-old male as the suspect, and a juvenile petition was issued for his arrest for attempted first degree murder, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, felony reckless endangerment, and felony evading arrest. The USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Jackson was requested to assist in locating and apprehending the teen.

On January 22, Deputy marshals and task force officers went to the teen’s residence in Lexington, TN. During the investigation, the teen’s father, Ricky Maness, Jr., 44, gave false information about the teen’s location. Subsequently, the teen was found hiding underneath a bed. He taken into custody and transported to the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center. A task force officer charged Maness with accessory after the fact. He was transported and booked at the Henderson County Detention Center.

The U.S. Marshals Service Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force within Western Tennessee. The TRVFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby, Fayette, Tipton, and Gibson County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis and Jackson Police Officers, Tennessee Department of Correction Special Agents and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Since 2021, the TRVFTF has captured approximately 3,000 violent offenders and sexual predators.

U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Captures Police Shooting Suspect

Fort Pierce, FL – The U.S. Marshals Service, Western District of Pennsylvania, announces the arrest of fugitive Darrell Barham, on January 23, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Darrell Barham is charged by the Allegheny County Police with firearms violations, two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement, and two counts of aggravated assault. These charges stem from an incident which occurred on October 17, 2024, in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Specifically, while Pittsburgh Police Detectives were conducting an investigation, Barham fired several rounds at the officers while they were driving. At the time of the incident, Barham was under federal supervision for a prior 2014 federal drug conviction, which resulted in a Federal Supervised Release Violation Warrant being issued.

The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force received a request from the Allegheny County Police asking for assistance in locating and apprehending Barham. Through their investigation, the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force developed information that Barham may have fled to Florida. On January 23, 2025, the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force, assisted by the Fort Pierce Police Department and St. Lucie County Sheriff’s arrested Barham without incident in Fort Pierce.

U.S. Marshal Stephen Eberle stated, “The members of the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force work tirelessly and diligently to locate Darrell Barham in Fort Pierce, Florida. And as a result of the quick actions of our Marshal Services counterparts in Southern Florida, this extremely dangerous individual is now off the streets and in custody.”

The arrest of this fugitive is the direct result of the cooperative investigative efforts between, U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, the Allegheny County Police Department, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Office, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, the Pennsylvania State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.

U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Suspect Wanted for Reckless Homicide

Urbana, IL – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) in conjunction with the USMS Northern District of Texas (N/TX) North Texas Fugitive Task Force (NTFTF) arrested Juan Jahaziel Saenz-Suarez on January 22, 2025, in Milford, TX. Saenz-Suarez was wanted on Champaign County IL warrant(s) for Reckless Homicide (Class 3 Felony) and Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Accident (Class I Felony). This stemmed from a serious traffic crash that occurred on January 19, 2025, in Urbana, IL. The crash resulted in the deaths of two (2) passengers who were seated in a car stopped at a red light, which was rear-ended by Saenz-Suarez. Saenz-Suarez is a Mexican Citizen who has been deported once from the United States.

The USMS GLRFTF, Central District of Illinois, adopted the Saenz-Suarez investigation, and the task force began an extensive and detailed investigation into his whereabouts. This multi-agency investigation gained assistance from the Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office, Urbana Police Department, USMS Technical Operations Group (TOG), USMS Northern District of Illinois (N/IL) GLRFTF, USMS Eastern District of Arkansas (E/AR), and the USMS N/TX NTFTF.

On January 22, 2025, the USMS investigation revealed information indicating Saenz Suarez was likely traveling south toward the Southern Border of the United States. A subsequent request for assistance was sent to the USMS N/TX NTFTF. Deputy United States Marshals (DUSM) and USMS Task Force Officers (TFO) took Saenz-Suarez safely into custody at approximately 0915 hours CST for further transportation to the Dallas County Jail, Texas, to await extradition.

The USMS GLRFTF is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. The Central District of Illinois has task force locations in Springfield, Peoria, and Urbana and is composed of members from Springfield PD, Sangamon Co. State’s Attorney’s Office, Illinois Department of Corrections Apprehension, Macoupin Co. SO, Sherman PD, Peoria Co. SO, Peoria PD, Bloomington PD, Normal PD, Knox Co. SO, Decatur PD, Champaign Co. State’s Attorney’s Office, Champaign PD, Danville PD, Kankakee Co. SO, Kankakee PD, Bradley PD, Iroquois Co. SO, Department of Homeland Security- Enforcement and Removal, and the Illinois National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.

U.S. Marshals Locate Iowa Man in Indonesia, Wanted on Child Sexual Exploitation Charges

Council Bluffs, IA – U.S. Marshals, in coordination with the U.S. Department of State and Indonesian officials, have taken custody of an Iowa man wanted on multiple federal child sexual exploitation charges.

The fugitive, Trevor John Collison, 32, is being held in U.S. Marshals custody on federal charges of sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued in the Southern District of Iowa in October 2024.

U.S. Marshals determined that Collison fled the United States following the execution of a search warrant at his Little Sioux residence in August 2024, which was conducted by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office as part of a child sexual exploitation investigation. Marshals tracked his movements across several South Pacific countries, including Singapore and Malaysia, before locating him in Indonesia.

In coordination with the U.S. Department of State, Collison was detained by Indonesian immigration officials when he attempted to extend his visa. He was subsequently returned to the United States, where he will appear before a Federal Magistrate on the outstanding federal warrant.

U.S. Marshals, Howard County PD Search for Alleged Columbia Mall Shooter

Washington, DC – The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with the Howard County Police Department, is looking for the suspect in a July 27, 2024, fatal shooting at The Mall in Columbia, Maryland.

William Marshall III aka “Junior,” 18, of Columbia, is wanted for first-degree murder and related charges, and a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest.

Marshall allegedly targeted the victim, 17-year-old Angelo Little, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives believe the suspect and victim knew each other.

Police on Aug. 5 released surveillance video that shows the suspect’s movements through the mall leading up to and after the shooting. Through continued investigation, detectives identified Marshall as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The U.S. Marshals Service has elevated the fugitive investigation to major status and has added $20,000 to the $10,000 offered by Howard County Police for information that leads to Marshall’s arrest.

Marshall is a Black man, stands 5 feet 11 inches and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered a potential threat to the public due to the nature of his alleged crime.

U.S. Marshals K-9 Rocky Released from Hospital

Houston, TX – The U.S. Marshals Tactical K-9 who was shot multiple times by the suspect wanted in Wednesday’s shooting death of Brazoria County Sheriff’s deputy Jesus Vargas has been released from the hospital.

The K-9 alerted officers to a dumpster in which the suspect hid after shooting Vargas. The suspect shot the dog twice, hitting him in the neck and the nose. Law enforcement fired at the suspect, striking him multiple times, and he died at the scene.

After the shooting, multiple law enforcement officers rushed the K-9 to a waiting Texas DPS helicopter to be taken to Westbury Animal Hospital where he underwent surgery to treat his injuries.

Rocky’s handler stayed by his side throughout the night, and several other officers also came to the hospital to check on the K-9 many credit with saving their lives.  

Rocky, an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois who has been on the job for six months, is already up and walking, eating and drinking. Now back with his handler, he is expected to make a full recovery and return to the job in the near future.

“We are all extremely grateful to the staff at Westbury for the fact that Rocky is still with us,” said T. Michael O’Connor, U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Texas.  “While Wednesday was a tragedy for all of us in law enforcement with the loss of Deputy Vargas, it likely could have gone worse had Rocky not been there. He is a hero. We all wish him a speedy recovery.”

Man Alleged to Have Killed Up-And-Coming Cleveland Rapper Arrested by U.S. Marshals in Pennsylvania

Indiana, PA – Last night, members of the U.S. Marshals led Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested Devon Jones, 25. Jones was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on December 29, officers were dispatched to Broadway Avenue in the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood to investigate a person shot around 4 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a male shot multiple times inside an apartment in the 5100 block of Broadway Ave., Cleveland. The male ultimately succumbed to the gunshot injuries and was later identified as Carlos Banks, 28, an up-and-coming rapper who performed under the name KashBankx.

Devon Jones, 25, was later identified as a suspect in this fatal shooting incident and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Last night, members of the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the Indiana Borough Police, Indiana County Drug Task Force, Indiana County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana County District Attorney’s Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jones at a residence in the 200 block of Washington Street, Indiana, Pennsylvania. Illegal narcotics were seized at the time of the arrest, which will result in Jones being charged with felony drug possession in Indiana County, PA.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Our Marshals Service counterparts in western Pennsylvania responded swiftly to locate and arrest this Cleveland homicide suspect. Now, the grieving family of the victim in this case is one step closer to getting the justice they deserve.”
