HONOLULU — The Coast Guard, Hawai’i Fire Department, Hawaii Ocean Safety, and the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources are scheduled to conduct a search and rescue exercise off Kawaihae, Hawaii, Thursday.

Puerto Rico – Coast Guard air and surface rescue teams continue searching alongside local emergency authorities for a missing person off Condado Beach in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Still missing is a 22-year-old woman from Indianapolis who was visiting the island and went swimming with two of her friends, who were caught in the strong rip currents affecting the area.   The woman’s friends were rescued and assisted ashore by local bystanders and responding authorities.  The missing woman reportedly was wearing a white shirt, pants and beach swim wear.
