The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), in partnership with the FBI San Antonio Field Office, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the United Services Automobile Association (USAA), held the San Antonio Corporate Security Symposium (CSS) on December 4, 2025. The event drew over 250 registered attendees from the private sector and the public sector, to include federal, state, and local government, and academia.
Matt Shifrin, Vice President, CEO Chief of Staff, USAA, kicked off the event followed by Opening Remarks provided by Kimberly Guedry, Regional Director, Region 6, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Russell “Alex” Doran, Acting Special Agent in Charge, FBI San Antonio Field Office. The Keynote Address was provided by Matthew Tyson, Deputy Under Secretary for Analysis, DHS I&A.
Today, public and private sector leaders convened at USAA to examine current and emerging security threats affecting their regions and the wider global landscape. Discussions centered on safeguarding lives and critical infrastructure—including business operations, essential services, and cybersecurity systems—while also addressing the broad impacts of these threats and the shared challenges faced across multiple sectors.
This conference featured prominent speakers from the public sector and the private sector who shed light on the following topics: Unifying Cyber and Physical Defense—Holistic Security Blueprint; The Power of Collaboration—Intelligence and Information Sharing; Cyber Crisis Management—Readiness, Response, and Recovery; Decoding the Future—Quantum Computing; UAV Threats and Mitigation Efforts to Securing Mass
