As part of an ongoing investigation, Bay St. George RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Stephenville on May 23, 2025. Fifty-one-year-old Jason Trent Hulan was arrested and is charged with a number of sexual offences.
Inside the home, officers located and seized a number of items in support of the charges laid against Hulan:
- Sexual assault – two counts
- Sexual assault with a weapon
- Assault – two counts
- Forcible confinement
- Making child pornography
- Possessing child pornography
- Distributing child pornography
Hulan was held in police custody over the weekend and attends court today.
The investigation is continuing.
