On October 16th, Fort McPherson RCMP received a report of a home invasion. Officers responded and subsequently arrested one person in relation to the matter.
29-year-old Nathan Francis of Fort McPherson was taken into custody and charged with:
- Breaking, entering and committing an offence (2 counts), contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
- Robbery (2 counts), contrary to section 344 of the Criminal Code
- Mischief under $5000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code
- Failure to comply with undertaking conditions, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code
Francis appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody.
This investigation remains ongoing.
