St. George’s — RCMP arrest five individuals at scene of break and enter

On November 11, 2024 at 1:45 p.m., Kings District RCMP responded to a report of an insecure house in St. George’s. Police found five people at the house who were all arrested for break and enter. Police seized a loaded long gun from the group and a drone was used to search the area and determine there were no others involved.

Two of the accused were held for a remand hearing today and the rest will appear in court at a later date. The two accused held for a remand hearing today in court were:

Derek James Buote charged with:

  • Break and Enter into a dwelling house
  • Possession of stolen property obtained by crime
  • Breach of Probation

Holly Anne Hull charged with

  • Break and Enter into a dwelling house
  • Possession of stolen property obtained by crime
  • Unsafe storage of a firearm
  • Unauthorized possession of a fire arm
