Yukon — RCMP ask the public to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle

Sometime between the night of October 16 to October 17 a white Wildland Fire Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen from Mayo, Yukon.

Investigators are considering the possibility this vehicle theft may have been stolen by the perpetrator related to ongoing investigation of the home invasion and sexualized assault.

Mayo RCMP ask that the public not approach the vehicle or any occupant, but to contact police immediately. Police also request information relating to possible past sightings of this vehicle since October 16.

The vehicle is described as:

2016 White 4 door crew cab Chevrolet Silverado with Yukon license plate: G46295

Wildland Fire Management logos on both sides

It has a winch at the front with a TDG placard holder (for transportation of dangerous goods signs); the winch frame is bent

Headache rack at the back

Yukon RCMP urge anyone who may have information about this crime to report it to the Mayo RCMP at (867) 996-5555. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
