Enmore — Flight from police leads to arrest of Prince County man

August 27, 2024, Enmore, PEI – Yesterday at 6:20 p.m., Prince District RCMP attempted a traffic stop of a car in Enmore, but the driver took flight driving recklessly and at excessive speed. The driver was later arrested and is now facing flight from police, driving, drug, tobacco, and breach of court order charges.

On August 26, 2024, at 6:20 p.m. in Enmore Prince District RCMP attempted a traffic stop, and the vehicle took flight. The 39-year-old driver fled driving recklessly and at excessive speed, abandoned the car, and police later arrested him on foot. He went on to damaged a telephone at the police detachment. Police seized illegal cigarettes, crystal methamphetamine as well as suspected stolen tools. If you have recently had some tools stolen, please contact East Prince RCMP at 902-436-9300.

Jeremy Gordon Milligan will be in court later today in Summerside to answer to charges of:

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle

Flight from a peace officer

Operating a motor vehicle while prohibited

Damage to property

Selling tobacco products and raw leaf tobacco

Unlawful Possession of tobacco

Possession of tobacco contrary to the Tax Act

Possession or Methamphetamine

Breach of probation
