LEGAZPI, Philippines (Aug. 10, 2024) – U.S. Navy Lt. Adam Bossom, the Amphibious Construction Battalion ONE (ACB1) lead, right, Republic of Korea Navy Cmdr. Park Jong Won, commanding officer of the ROKS Il Chul Bong (LST 688), middle, and Legazpi City Mayor Carmen Geraldine B. Rosa, cut a ribbon after the completion of an engineering project for Pacific Partnership 2024-2 at Legazpi Port Elementary School in Legazpi, Philippines, Aug. 10, 2024. Now in its 20th iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security and stability in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
