The Chaleur Region RCMP detachment is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 46-year-old man from Petit-Rocher, NB.
Jean-François Pinault was last seen on August 17, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., on his paddle board along the shores of Petit-Rocher, N.B. He was reported missing to police August 18, 2024. Police have followed up on several leads to try to locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Jean-François Pinault is described as being approximately six feet (183 centimetres) tall, and weighing approximately 190 pounds (86 kilograms). He has a shaved head, brown eyes, and a grey and white beard. He was last seen wearing either a blue long sleeve shirt, a red hoodie or a yellow jacket, shorts, and black crocks. He was last believed to be travelling towards Belledune from Petit-Rocher on his paddle board with his dog.
