Doaktown — Missing 10-year-old boy

The Blackville RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 10-year-old boy from Doaktown, N.B.

Chase Swinamer was last seen on July 7, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Grand Lake Rd in Doaktown, NB. He was reported missing to the police on the same day. He was driving an orange Coleman dirt bike with a milk crate attached, similar to the image provided but without the headlight. Police have followed up on several leads to try to locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Chase Swinamer is described as being approximately 4 feet (122 centimeters) tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds (54 kilograms). He has blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black helmet, shorts, and a T-shirt.

Residents in the Doaktown region can expect an increased police presence as the Northeast District RCMP, Public Safety, Ground Search and Rescue teams, and the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) conduct searches for Chase Swinamer. Police are also asking residents to check their properties for any sign of the missing youth, or anything that may appear out of place.
