As of approximately 3:00 am on June 5, 2024, there is a large police presence in Niverville in relation to an officer-involved shooting, with an adult male deceased on scene. RCMP and Winnipeg Police Service in the area of Dovers Run, which will be blocked off for a large portion of the day.
One female in custody and one male has fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. Details are being determined. More information will be provided as soon as it is available.
