It is a key enabler to providingclean energy; cutting-edge medicine; nutritious food and hope for a better tomorrow – through nuclear science and technology. The International Conference on Nuclear Security: Shaping the Future (ICONS 2024) held from May 20-24, provided a global forum for ministers, policymakers, senior officials and nuclear security experts to discuss the future of nuclear security worldwide, whilst providing opportunities for exchanging information and fostering international cooperation.
