Channel-Port aux Basques — Update: Body of second vehicle occupant recovered by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team

This morning, the body of the second occupant of a vehicle that left the roadway on Route 470 and became submerged in a pond was recovered by the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

The investigation into the crash is continuing and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged.
