Eskasoni — Man faces drug trafficking charges following search of residence in Eskasoni

On December 8, Eskasoni RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Beach Rd. in Eskasoni as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

During the search, officers seized a significant amount of suspected opioid pills, drug paraphernalia, cash and a firearm. Two men were safely arrested at the residence.

Glenn Joseph Peck, 53, of Eskasoni, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts) and Breaching a Release Order (five counts). He remains in custody pending his next court appearance on December 13 in Sydney Provincial Court.

The second man was released without charge.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Eskasoni RCMP, with assistance from Victoria County district RCMP.
