On October 4, 2023, as part of an ongoing firearm investigation, Moose Lake RCMP, along with the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Mosakahiken Cree Nation.
Officers seized two loaded firearms, ammunition, weapons and drug paraphernalia.
Four adults, three male and one female, were arrested at the scene.
The adult female was later released with no charges.
Michael Campbell, 25, has been charged with:

Unsafe Storage of Firearms x2
Possession of a firearm/Prohibited Weapon when Knowing Possession is Unauthorized x2
Tampering with a serial number on a Firearm
He was released on a release order.
Dion Campbell, 22, has been charged with:
Weapons Possession contrary to Order x4
Unsafe Storage of Firearms x2
Possession of a firearm/Prohibited Weapon when Knowing Possession is Unauthorized x2
Tampering with a serial number on a Firearm
He was remanded into custody.
Samuel Nasekapow, 24, has been charged with:
Weapons Possession contrary to Order x10
Unsafe Storage of Firearms x2

Fail to Comply x2
He was remanded into custody.
