On October 5, 2023, at approximately 7:30 pm, RCMP responded to a report of an erratic driver on Highway 1, in the RM of Portage la Prairie. The licence plate was obtained and found to be associated to a stolen vehicle out of Brandon.
RCMP officers began patrolling and located the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Crescent Road West, in Portage la Prairie. The driver was arrested without incident.
Skylar Tuck, 29, of Brandon, has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply x2 and Drive Without a Valid Drivers Licence under the Highway Traffic Act.
He was remanded into custody.
