The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help following an armed robbery in South Tetagouche, N.B.
On October 1, 2023, at approximately 9 a.m., two individuals, one who was armed with a firearm, entered a business in South Tetagouche and demanded money from an employee. They then fled the scene in a black Ford truck with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived. No one was injured during the incident.
Police are releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that someone may recognize the individuals. The first is described as a man who is approximately 50-60 years old, six feet (183 centimetres) tall, and 220 pounds (100 kilograms). He had a short grey and brown beard, and was wearing a plaid shirt, with a plaid sweater overtop, with dark pants, and dark shoes.
The second individual is described as a woman who is approximately 40-50 years old, five feet six inches (167 centimetres) tall, and 120 pounds (54 kilograms). She had short brown hair, and was wearing a dark shirt, with a white skirt and a red ball cap.
Anyone who recognizes the individuals or the truck in the photos is asked to contact the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771.
