On September 23, 2023, at approximately 12:50 am, a Portage la Prairie RCMP officer was on patrol on Oak Bay when she observed a female on the street acting erratically and in possession of a crowbar.
The officer exited her patrol vehicle and attempted to speak with the female who took off on foot. The suspect was pursued with additional officers attending to assist.
