On July 20, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP received a report of an assault that occurred at a residence on the Ebb and Flow First Nation.
Officers learned a suspect had assaulted a 26-year-old female at a home on Point Road South using a billiard ball wrapped in a sock, causing a variety of non-life-threatening injuries. The victim managed to flee the scene.
RCMP went to the home where the assault occurred but were not able to locate the suspect. Since then, officers have continued to search for the suspect without success.
A warrant of arrest has been issued for Andreanna Mousseau, an 18-year-old female from the Ebb and Flow First Nation, who is wanted for assault with a weapon.
