January 6, 2025, Brackley, Prince Edward Island – PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section (GIS) traffic stop leads to seized drugs and the arrest of two men and a woman for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
On January 3rd, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m. PEI RCMP Provincial GIS with assistance from Queens District RCMP completed a targeted traffic stop in Brackley, PEI. RCMP arrested a 39-year-old Monticello man and a 26-year-old Stratford woman for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine, and a 37-year-old Cornwall man for possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and breaching a release order. A search of the vehicle located approximately 30 grams of cocaine and methamphetamine combined. The 39-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were released pending investigation and the 37-year-old Cornwall man was held, to be brought before Provincial Court. “Drug seizures large or small hold drug traffickers accountable helping to bring about safer Island communities. PEI RCMP remain committed to disrupting the flow of illegal drugs in PEI.” says PEI RCMP Media Relations Officer Corporal Gavin Moore.
