Weirdale — Nipawin/Smeaton RCMP: woman charged after more than 260 grams of cocaine seized

On December 20, 2024 at approximately 11:40 p.m., Nipawin RCMP received a report of a vehicle that was stuck in the ditch near Weirdale, SK.

Smeaton RCMP located the vehicle. Investigation determined the adult female driver left the scene on foot. Officers determined the woman was wanted on a warrant for driving while disqualified from Saskatoon Police Service and was subject to court-ordered curfew conditions.

They soon after located her sitting in a vehicle in Nipawin. She was arrested. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located and seized 262 grams of cocaine, a sum of currency and various pre-packaged drugs.

As a result of investigation, 43-year-old Dana McCulloch from White Fox is charged with:

  • three counts, fail to comply with undertaking condition, Section 145(4)(a), Criminal Code
  • one count, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, Section 88(2), Criminal Code
  • one count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code
  • one count, utter threats, Section 264.1(1), Criminal Code;
  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and;
  • one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

She is scheduled to appear in court in Melfort on December 30, 2024.
