On December 15, 2024, at approximately 7 :45 am, Ste. Rose RCMP responded to a report of a shooting on Highway 278, near the community of Ebb and Flow First Nation.
Immediately officers and Emergency Medical Services responded and located an injured 34-year-old male laying beside a truck, near the Ebb and Flow First Nation Arena.
The victim was transported to hospital in Dauphin where he later succumbed to his injuries.
RCMP identified a suspect and a 53-year-old male was arrested for Murder without incident at a residence in the community.
The suspect remains in custody.
