ALBANY, NEW YORK – Lamont McWhite, age 51, of Gloversville, New York, was sentenced today to 120 months in prison for conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, cocaine base, and fentanyl.
United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman and Frank A. Tarentino III, Special Agent in Charge, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), New York Field Division, made the announcement.
As part of his prior guilty plea, McWhite admitted that he distributed cocaine on four occasions between June and August 2022, and on December 14, 2022, possessed and intended to distribute approximately 292 grams of methamphetamine, 506 grams of cocaine, 49 grams of cocaine base, and 37 grams of fentanyl.
Senior United States District Judge Glenn T. Suddaby also imposed a 5-year term of post-imprisonment supervised release.
DEA investigated the case and Assistant U.S. Attorney Ashlyn Miranda prosecuted the case.
