Yellow Creek — Melfort RCMP investigating fatal collision

On December 3, 2024 at approximately 7:15 a.m., Melfort RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway #41 near Yellow Creek, SK.

Officers responded along with local EMS. Investigation determined two SUVs collided. The drivers of the SUVs were declared deceased at the scene by EMS. They have been identified as a 28-year-old male from Birch Hills, SK and a 78-year-old male from Melfort, SK. Both of their families have been notified. Neither vehicle had passengers.

Melfort RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
