The Codiac Regional RCMP have arrested two individuals following an armed robbery in Moncton, N.B.
On November 28, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress at a business on Mountain Road, in Moncton. The suspect attempted to flee the scene, however, following a brief pursuit on foot, police safely arrested a 29-year-old woman.
Upon arrest, police recovered items that were stolen during the incident. After further investigation, police learned that a second individual had participated in the armed robbery by helping steal items from the store.
On November 28, 2024, 29-year-old Jade Tingley, from Moncton, N.B., appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with one count of robbery with an offensive weapon. She was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on December 4, 2024.
On November 29, 2024, 25-year-old Daniel Tingley, from Moncton, N.B. was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared in Moncton Provincial Court that same date. Daniel Tingley was charged with one count of robbery with an offensive weapon. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on December 4, 2024.
