Selkirk — Selkirk RCMP seeking out a person of interest

Selkirk RCMP are requesting public assistance in identifying a person of interest in an on-going police investigation which occurred on July 13, 2024, at approximately 10:15 pm at the Selkirk Fair and Rodeo, located at Selkirk Park.

The male is believed to have been seen walking around the fairgrounds between 10:00 and 10:30 pm that evening.

A composite sketch of the male has been completed and Selkirk RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him. He’s described as;

  • male in his late 30’s to early 40’s
  • greyish colored hair with greyish colored medium length beard
  • between 6′ and 6’3 with a muscular build
  • wearing a white cowboy hat, blue jeans, white/plaid shirt & black/brown belt buckle
