The Lamèque RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 33-year-old man from Shippagan, N.B.
Jean-Daniel Chiasson was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. on August 15, 2024, near a residence on O-Bo-Lac lane in Shippagan. He was reported missing to police the same day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
He is described as being approximately 5 feet 11 inches (180 centimetres) tall with a slim build. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red hat, a long sleeve shirt, dark-coloured shorts, and rubber boots. He was last seen on foot in the area.
Anyone who may have seen him since August 15, or who has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Lamèque RCMP at 506-344-2006.
