Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at Marsh Motorsports on April 1, 2024. Four chainsaws with a combined value of more than $4800.00 were stolen.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m. on April 1, 2024, police received a report of an alarm sounding at the Cromer Avenue business. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that a break and enter had occurred. Two suspects were caught on surveillance inside the store at the time of the crime. Both were wearing hoods over their heads, masks on their faces and gloves on their hands. Pictures of the suspects are attached.
The following items were stolen from inside the property:
- A Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw with an 18-inch bar
- A Husqvarna 555 Autotune chainsaw with a 15-inch bar
- A Husqvarna 585 chainsaw with an 18-inch bar
- A Husqvarna 592 chainsaw with a 20-inch bar
The investigation is continuing.
