A 27-year-old man from Millville, N.B., has been charged following a series of incidents in the Cloverdale and Coldstream, N.B., areas.
On March 11, 2024, at approximately 3:55 p.m., members of the Western Valley Region RCMP received a report that an individual that was known to police had fled from Justice and Public Safety officers, crashed his car into a ditch, and then broke into a nearby home. Before police could establish a containment of the residence, the individual fled the scene.
RCMP Police Dog Services were called to the scene to assist in tracking the individual, but police believe he was picked up by someone in a vehicle.
On March 13, police received information on the potential whereabouts of the individual. Police Dog Services attended and began a track which led to a nearby home. The individual was located inside of the residence, and arrested without further incident.
On March 15, Sheldon Marr-Brewer appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court, and was charged with break and enter, and flight from police. He was released on strict conditions, and is scheduled to return to court on April 9, 2024.
The investigation is ongoing.
