On March 12, 2024, at approximately 8:30 pm, as part of a weapons investigation, Norway House RCMP and the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a residence in the community.
One male was arrested and a modified firearm was seized.
Lawrence Moore, 36, of Norway House, has been charged with:
Aggravated Assault
Assault with a Weapon
Pointing a Firearm x2
Uttering Threats
Using a Firearm in the Commission of an Offence
Weapons Possession Contrary to Order
Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Unsafe Storage of Firearms
Possession of a Firearm when Possession is Unauthorized
He was remanded into custody.
