Tabusintac — RCMP seeking public’s help following a suspicious fire

The Neguac RCMP Detachment is seeking the public’s help following a suspicious fire in the Tabusintac area.

On January 27, 2024, at approximately 9 a.m., police responded to a report of a lobster fishing boat fire behind a residence on Route 11. No one was injured during the incident; however, the boat was destroyed.

Through the investigation, police have determined the fire to be suspicious in nature, and believe it was intentionally set.
