L Division RCMP Headquarters, PEI  — JFO seize ½ pound of Crystal Meth

March 4, 2024, L Division RCMP Headquarters, PEI – On March 1st at 3:00 p.m. Prince District Joint Forces Operations Drug Unit made a traffic stop in West Devon which led to the arrest of a 48-year-old West Prince woman and the seizure of ½ a pound of crystal methamphetamine. Janice Rehberg was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Crystal Meth and failing to comply with a release order. She has other outstanding drug charges before the courts. She was held in custody to appear in court March 13th at 9:30 in Summerside Provincial Court.

“Crystal Meth is a growing problem here in PEI. Half a pound represents over 2000 doses of this dangerous drug. If you have information that can help stop illegal drugs in your community please contact your local police” – Cpl Gavin Moore, Media Relations Officer with the PEI RCMP.
