On February 12, 2024, at approximately 11:50 PM, Gypsumville RCMP responded to a shooting in Pinaymootang First Nation.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 23-year-old male outside of a residence. Officers provided first-aid, including CPR, but he was later pronounced deceased on scene.
RCMP Major Crime Services, along with Gypsumville and Ashern RCMP, and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, are on scene and continue to investigate.
