The suspect attempted to flee the scene, however, following a brief pursuit on foot, police safely arrested the 37-year-old man. Upon arrest, police recovered credit cards that were previously reported as stolen during a separate break and enter.

On February 5, Rock Godin appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by way of tele-remand, and was charged with:

On February 7, he returned to court for a bail hearing. He was later remanded into custody and his next court appearance is February 13.
