On January 27, 2024 at approximately 12:00 p.m., Milestone RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 39 near Corrine, SK.
Officers responded immediately along with Milestone Fire Department and local EMS. Investigation determined two pick-up trucks collided. The drivers of both trucks were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. One has been identified as a 76-year-old male from Midale, SK. His family has been notified. An adult female passenger in the truck was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
The driver and sole occupant of the other truck has been identified as a 50-year-old male from Estevan. His family has also been notified.
Milestone RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
