On December 28, 2023, at 8:10pm, Poplar River RCMP responded to a report of a homicide at a residence in the community.
Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old deceased male.
A 28-year-old female has been arrested in relation to this homicide and is facing a charge of Manslaughter.
The Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services is continuing the investigation.
