LSD of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska — 26-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 26-year-old man from Fredericton, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, N.B.

On December 26, 2023, shortly after 9 a.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2, in Saint-Anne-de-Madawaska. There were three occupants inside of the vehicle at the time of the crash. One passenger died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver and second passenger were transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Members of the Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, Atkins Realis, a member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office, and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist also attended the scene

The investigation is ongoing.
