Elsipogtog — RCMP seeking public’s help following arson

The Elsipogtog RCMP is seeking the public’s help in connection with an arson at a business in Elsipogtog, N.B.

On December 15, 2023, at approximately 9 a.m., members of the Elsipogtog RCMP received a report of an arson that had occurred at a business on Route 116, in Elsipogtog, earlier the same morning.

Through the investigation, it was determined that the fire had been intentionally set. No one was in the building when the fire was set.

Police are aware of a video circulating online that shows three suspects intentionally setting fire to the business, and then fleeing the scene. Police are working with the business, and have obtained and secured a copy of the video.

Anyone who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Elsipogtog RCMP at 506-523-8282. The investigation is ongoing.
