On October 26, 2023, Onion Lake RCMP were conducting proactive patrols in Onion Lake. An officer observed Tristan Whitstone in a parked vehicle.
The officer attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle drove away.
Officers followed the vehicle through rural roads for approximately 30 minutes until it pulled over near Marwayne, AB. Tristan Whitstone was arrested without incident on his outstanding warrants. Alberta RCMP’s Lloydminster, Elk Point and Vermillion detachments and Lloydminster Police Dog Services assisted in the arrest.
Tristan Whitstone is also charged with one count, flight from peace officer, Section 320.17, Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on October 27, 2023.
