Brantville  — RCMP seeking public’s help following suspicious fire

The Neguac RCMP is asking for the public’s help following a suspicious fire in Brantville, N.B.

The fire occurred sometime during the evening hours of September 27, and early morning hours of September 28, 2023, behind a garage, near Route 11 in the 5400 block in Brantville. A farming tractor behind the garage was set on fire, and was completely destroyed as a result. No one was injured during the incident, but the garage also sustained damages. A subsequent investigation has determined that the fire is suspicious in nature.

Anyone who may live in the area and witnessed suspicious activity on September 27 and 28, who may have surveillance footage from the time of the incident, or who may have information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Neguac RCMP at 506-776-3000.
