On October 24, 2023 at approximately 9:45 a.m., White Butte RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway #33, northwest of Kronau, SK.
Initial investigation determined an SUV and a semi collided. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 32-year-old from Regina. Her family has been notified.
The driver and sole occupant of the semi did not report injuries to police.
Highway #33 was closed during initial investigation, but has since re-opened. White Butte RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
