Harvey — RCMP investigating mischief incidents at cemetery

The West District RCMP is investigating a number of mischief incidents including damage to gravestones and vandalism of a church in Harvey, N.B.

On October 16, 2023, members of the West District RCMP responded to three calls for service in the Harvey area, including two calls for damage to gravestones at a cemetery, and a call for vandalism to a church.

Following a subsequent investigation, police were able to obtain surveillance footage of the incidents, and have since identified two potential suspects.

This remains a high-priority file for the West District RCMP, and police are seeking any information from the public that may help further the investigation.
