Oromocto — RCMP seeking public’s help following theft from a business

The Oromocto RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest following a theft from a business in Oromocto, N.B.

The theft occurred on September 11, 2023, at approximately 4:25 p.m., when a man walked into a business on Restigouche Road in Oromocto, and left the business with approximately $500 worth of merchandise that he did not pay for.

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that someone may recognize the individual, who is described as a man in his early to mid twenties with a slim build, wearing blue jeans, a red and black tank top, white shoes, and a red and black ball cap.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photo, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300. The investigation is ongoing.
