On October 12, 2023 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Indian Head RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a truck and multi-passenger van on Highway #1, near Sintaluta, Saskatchewan.
RCMP officers, Indian Head Fire, EMS and STARS immediately responded. The specific details of the investigation are currently being investigated by an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.
The multi-passenger van had nine occupants and was determined to be transporting one adult and eight youth from the Broadview Detachment area. All occupants of the multi-passenger van were transported to hospital with injuries described as either severe or non-life-threatening.
The lone adult male driver of the truck, from Manitoba, was transported to hospital by STARS. We are unable to provide information on his injuries.
Victim Services has been engaged to provide support to all occupants involved.
