St. Martin’s North — RCMP asking for public’s help following shooting incident

The Hampton RCMP is asking for the public’s help following a shooting incident in St. Martin’s North, N.B.

On October 6, 2023, at approximately 3:10 p.m., members of the Hampton RCMP responded to a call for shots fired at a residence on Patterson Siding Road, in St. Martin’s. Police believe someone discharged a firearm several times towards the residence, struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived. Two people were inside the home at the time of the incident, no one was injured.

Police are looking for an older style, maroon, Ford 150 truck with a black back rack behind the rear window and no rear license plate which is believed to be involved in this incident.

“We are looking to speak to any witnesses to the incident, as well as anyone who was on Patterson Siding Road between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m., on October 6, 2023” says Sgt. Tyson Nelson with the Hampton RCMP detachment. “If you have dash-cam or other video footage from the area at the time of the shooting, please call police.”

Anyone who has video footage, who witnessed the shooting, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to call the Hampton RCMP detachment at 506-832-5566.
