On September 29, 2023, at 4:10 am, Gypsumville RCMP responded to a report of two males having been shot and were now at a residence located on Chief Road in Lake St Martin.
Officers arrived on scene and located the two males (34, 31) with non-life-threatening injuries. Medical assistance was provided until EMS arrived. The 31-year-old was transported to hospital in Winnipeg and the 34-year-old was treated and released on scene.
Investigators believe the two males were targeted in a drive-by shooting while at a residence located on Memorial Crescent.
