Detectives have made four arrests in connection with the murder of a man in Brent.
Police were called just after 23.00hrs on Sunday, 24 September to Olympic Way, Wembley to reports of a stabbing.
Officers attended the location where they discovered a man with stab injuries. They immediately commenced CPR ahead of the arrival, a short time later, of colleagues from the London Ambulance Service, who continued to treat the victim. He was taken by ambulance to a north London hospital, but was sadly pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The man has been named as Hamza Iqbal, 25, who was from Brent. His next of kin are aware.
A post mortem examination will be held in due course.
Four people – three men [A], [B] and [C] have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A woman [D] has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All remain in custody.
